What Month Is It?

All my weeks are overlapping, and I can't keep everything straight these days.  I'm still attempting to blog, but it seems abysmal lately.  We got all three kids in basketball which means we are all over the geographic map this time of the year.  Karson is playing for South, Miles is playing on the Mavericks, and Isaac is playing for the Thunder. The most important thing is that they are all on teams with their friends and enjoy playing.  Both of the boys are on really good teams which is always fun too. Winning is fun!  I don't have any ball pictures yet but one of Karson and Mae Kathryn - not sure if any others are needed =).  We love our baby GIRL! 

6th Grade Showcase is underway at Plano.  Isaac has had early morning practices and quite a few matches this month.  He's a beast at math.  It's crazy how smart some of these kids are.

 

   Because I need to play catch-up, let's rewind to the end of October.  We did our Jack-o-lantern carving in SHORTS.  Kentucky weather can't seem to make it up its mind, but we'll take it!  I don't mind the warm fall at all.

 Halloween was ruined by a MONDAY which should totally be against every law we have here in America.  Oh well!  It didn't stop us from having trick or treating fun.  Isaac found his costume mask early and was set.  He had a gorilla mask last year and went for a horse head this time.  Miles decided to be a skeleton with a hockey mask (because he didn't want to paint his face).  He also wanted to carry a hatchet.  I don't ask, I just take them to the orange tent and watch them squeal with excitement.  Karson and her friend McKenna went to a church Halloween party and "attempted" to look spooky with the purge-inspired masks.

This might have been Isaac's last year with a mask.  At the end of the night, he said, "I think I just want a normal costume next year, masks are hot and hard to keep up with."

Me and Donald attended our annual "adult" party at the Evans's.  Matt was in full character the whole night.  He watched lots of Alec Baldwin videos and hand motions to prepare.

 October + November = lots of birthday celebrations!  Karson celebrated with her friend Madelyn last weekend in Nashville.  The two of them are a hoot together.  Madelyn's mom Kim said they laughed and cut up the entire time they were together. 

If there are games to play, they are going to win SOMETHING!  They won a minion at Holiday World, a tablet at Regal Cinemas vending and a giant dog at Dave and Busters.  We're thinking they need to start playing Powerball or something more substantial. Silly girls!

We celebrated with Meme at Outback on Sunday.  It;s always fun getting the whole crew together for celebrating!  We've got two more this month - Debbie and Matt's 40th (WHOA).  

I've gotten some of my Christmas shopping started which feels pretty good.  As fast as these months are going, it'll be here soon.
