Karson loves her new Barbie bike (especially the water bottle). Sometimes in the late afternoon, we'll take a stroll through the neighborhood. Isaac and Miles in the wagon and Karson on her bike. We have to make frequent stops because Karson needs a drink. It cracks me up. I remember my first bike. I was "quite the daredevil" at 7 (yeah that's right 7). I have always been a cautious person.
Karson is WAY ahead of me in the bravery category. She does have major issues with water (not water bottles). She used to wear goggles in the bath just to get her hair washed. She has a healthy fear of pools too. When I was her age, I did not like water either. My sister did and Mom would take her swimming during pool breaks. I, on the other hand, would be fully equipped with every life-saving device in the book: water wings, life belt and jacket, and a SuperMan float. I figured that wasn't enough protection so I wrapped myself around the lifeguard chair and prepared for the worst. These days I'm a little crazier and go in waist-deep with NO floatation device...WOW!
