Super Bowl Sunday was super special this year. Matt and I made the early trek up to Louisville to take Karson to breakfast at Bruegger's Bagels (her fav) and celebrate her transition ceremony in upper division nursing at the University of Louisville.
Last week was extra stressful for our future nurse with lots of exams and quizzes. Not surprising to us, she handled them all with ease and got A's.
She also recently joined both the UofL Nursing Student Council as a student representative along with the the UofL Kentucky Nursing Association of Nursing Students. Both organizations provide her with more opportunities to get involved in her field and have a voice.
It was a pretty quick trip but a special one. We're super proud of our future Cardinal nurse!
