That's my go-to karaoke song! I love the lyrics, and I'm currently on a major Chicago kick. Chicago was one of my first concerts as a teenager, so their music has a special place in my heart. The band touches on all the big things in life - relationships, heartbreak, hope. I love them. I feel like the older I get, the more I appreciate their music.

Blogging has become a little harder as I've gotten older. I know I mentioned in an earlier post that there just isn't as much to write about these days as there was when the kids were little. However, I definitely want to keep posting and cataloging our lives. I know I'll appreciate having this to look back on someday.
Over Fall Break, Matt and I did a little "staycationing." First, we headed to Louisville and spent the weekend hanging out with Karson. We visited the St. James Art Festival, which I had attended a few times as a kid and always thought was one of the neatest events ever. Neither Matt nor Karson had ever been, so it was fun getting to share it with them! The festival is held the first weekend in October each year. Definitely add it to your list if you ever have the chance!
Karson had to work that Saturday night, but Matt and I stayed at a hotel, ate a delicious dinner at Grassa Gramma and then went to see the movie Resident Evil (which is by far one of the best movies I've seen this year).
After the big event, a few of us ladies headed downtown (along with what seemed like the rest of Bowling Green!) for the Harvest Festival. I'm not sure how many years our community has been hosting this event, but Karson and I went last year and had a ball. This year seemed even bigger than last, although it felt like there were more food trucks than actual vendors. Either way, it was fun getting out and enjoying the weather which was perfect!
All three of our kids are stepping into big life changes, and while it's stressful for both them and us, I know the end game will be worth it. Say a little prayer for all three of them as they navigate these next chapters. We are so proud to be their parents and love watching their adult lives unfold.
Speaking of stressful... the Tennessee Titans! Geez! I'm not much of a football watcher, but my boys sure are. AND wouldn't you know it? Miles literally JUST got a new Titans shirt with Simmons' name on the back, only for him to be traded this week. Lovely.
