# 11

Baby Miles is 11 months old today! He's growing up and even starting to take some steps. I'm not sure what it is about fall clothing that makes children look older, but Miles looks more like a little boy this week than ever. For those of you out there with three small children (or even one small child for that matter), the light at the end of a sleepy tunnel is coming closer. Something about that 1 year mark makes things different~not necessarily easier but different. I'm proud of my little "warrior" for surviving 11 months as # 3.

He's ELECTRIC boogy woogy woogy

Matt snapped these photos last night while Miles was chasing me around the trampoline. I pity the fool who messes with him. It will be a shocking experience!

Rangers: Power Up

Our Halloween costumes arrived this week. Hooray for eBay. While every 5 year old girl on the planet wants to be a princess or fairy for Halloween, my Karson, wants to be a Pink Power Ranger. And, her sidekick Isaac, wants to be the "blue one" Power Ranger. I mean, really, someone needs to save this planet from self destruction. It might as well be my kids. You're welcome to send any expressions of thanks in the form of college tuition money.

Happy Grandparents Day

Karson and her brothers sure are lucky to have so many grandparents. There's Pops and Meme (my mom and dad), Pap and Nana (Colvin and Debbie), Grandad and Granny (Doug and Lucy Bradford), Mamaw (Kathryn Deaton),~ In Louisville: Papaw and Memaw (Bill and Bonnie Hartwein) and Papaw and Mamaw (Jack and Margaret Pogue). I was reminded yesterday at Karson's preschool program and even more today, September 11, of all the blessings in my life and the lives of my children. God speed!

Cruisin' Together

Miles was at the mercy of his sister this afternoon as they went crusin' around the house in her Jeep. He managed to survive her "punching the pedal" take off's and abrupt stops. He's already fearless of women drivers.

Sharkboy and Lavagirl Quiz

Drawing upon the latest in modern costume making techniques, a number of distinctive details including red tissue paper, curling ribbon, masking tape, construction paper and mittens, I meticulously pieced together these Sharkboy and Lavagirl renditions. You'll have to look VERY closely to tell which photo is Karson and Isaac and which one's are the real characters.
