Karson has never been much of a girly girl. What I mean by that is she prefers to wear her hair down and stringy than in a cute up-do, she prefers a t-shirt and jeans to dresses, she prefers to watch SpongeBob and Scooby Doo rather than Hannah Montana and Barbie movies, if her nails are painted, she scratches it off within minutes, Isaac loves playing make-up, tea parties and Pretty, Pretty Princess more than her, and the list goes on... So, it's no surprise to me that her closest friends at school are three boys. We hosted a playdate last Saturday and invited her three buddies over. It was so cute--she wrote out invitations for each one of them (I wish I had taken a picture). They read something like this:

We got her hair whacked not to long ago. Like I said, she doesn't like it up or done (or washed, brushed, etc.). A cute summer cut was the answer.

How sweet! Love the new haircut. I have never been one for fixing my hair all up either so I totally relate to her on that!! Short hair all the way :)

Her hair is so cute and she'll have time later in life for all that girly stuff, if she wants it. Sounds like she is having fun playing with the boys right now.
