WE SURVIVED DISNEY (barely)

Look out Disney: Here we COME!!! The kids all revved up for the big flight on Allegiant Air--check out their site sometime for amazing deals to Orlando (the airline flies out of Owensboro).

Disney truly is a magical experience. We snagged the buy 4, get 3 free deal back in December. We had our choice of parks daily, stayed on the grounds in the Disney All Star Music and participated in the meal plan(which you should absolutely do if you ever spend the week there. The food is outrageous $$$). Since Disney has four parks, we crammed all of them into one week. Needless to say, we are worn out and so are the kiddos. However, it was a fabulous time and here are some photos to highlight the trip =). ENJOY!!!

Our HOME away from HOME.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

I believe Hollywood Studios was my favorite park. We managed to get the kids on the Tower of Terror (the 13 story drop). The park also has the Rock-n-Roller coaster, Buzz Lightyear, the Honey I Shrunk the Kids set, movie rides, etc.

Thank goodness for Fast Passes!!!

EPCOT

We visited Epcot on our third day at Disney. The kids were getting a bit worn down already and most of the rides/entertainment at this park were geared towards older children (and us adults). We were able to enjoy a couple of things with them like Soarin', Nemo and Friends and Living with the Land. We left around lunch but came back in the evening (sans kids--my parents kept them at the hotel) to visit the rest of the park (Fast Track) and watch Illumination.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

Animal Kingdom was also an adventure. We were told to take the Jungle Safari tour first thing because all the animals are tired in the afternoon. We also saw a bird show and It's Tough to be a Bug, rode on Kali River Rapids, went to DinoLand--Isaac's HIGHLIGHT, and did Expedition Everest.

The coolest face paint ever. I would've had mine done, but we only had $1,000,000 to spare. Be sure to bring your checkbooks to Disney. It's quite pricey!!!

THE MAGIC KINGDOM

We spent most of our time at this park. My, oh, my, it's huge and so much fun!!! Everyday is a party at the Magic Kingdom--from shows, parades, singing, bands, fireworks, and the list goes on. Shannon made appointments for the girls at the Bippity Boppity Boutique on Monday. They got the royal treatment at the salon. Afterwards, we went to visit all the princesses and fairies and got their autographs (every little girl's dream).

Princesses in training =).

Cinderella
Aurora

Belle
The fairy Silvermist
The fairy Tinkerbell
The fairy Fawn

I could seriously post about a million other pictures, but I've been working on this post for days. Blogger can be a booger when it comes to uploading stuff. In summary, we are BROKE, tired, 10 pounds heavier and smiling from ear to ear. In fact, I filled up my entire memory card which is unbelieveable. The theme of Disney is celebrate everday--I agree with that motto =).
