Miles has had a wart on his knee for a while. We've tried every type of Compound W product on the market - the paint on's, the bandaids, the freeze offs, nothing worked. I made him an appointment with a dermatologist yesterday. I was thinking they would likely freeze it off, but instead, they actually shaved it off which required a shot for numbing and razor. It made quite a place on his knee and even requires an antibiotic. Hopefully, it will be gone for good.

Birthday meal at Rafferty's with Nana, Karson and Miles.

I capped off the birthday evening in Elizabethtown at Isaac's lacrosse game against Central Hardin. We thought we were prepared with blankets and camping chairs. However, we should've paid closer attention to the weather. Rain was in the forecast. I only had a small umbrella in the car which didn't cover much. The rain started out lightly but got worse. The parking lot was pretty far from the car and at halftime, I decided to tap out and head that way. However, there was a small pavilion towards the backside of the park (they played Etown Sports Park) and an area where you could still watch the game - DRY. Me and a few others found shelter there. And guess what...Isaac scored his first Varsity goal....AND someone captured it on video. Yay! I called it a birthday goal for me!
