As luck would have it, Miles has had two golf tournaments in Louisville this month. It's such a treat having an excuse to go to Louisville for golf and to see our girl. Much has happened since she started at UL. She rushed and joined the Sigma Kappa sorority and has loved every minute of it. Sports were such a big part of her life that participating in college intramurals was something she was really excited about. She's playing football and running track - her nickname is "Wheels" and kicking butt! I love it and know that she is having the time of her life! Along with her classes and sorority activities, she has a second interview today with Cardinal Health for a part time campus job. We're very proud of her work ethic which we know will take her far!
Friday night was exactly what we needed after a long, tiring week! We were able to go up to Louisville and enjoy watching the Cards play some football. Miles was already there because the golf team played a practice round of golf at Quail Chase. Thankfully my cousin Kenton collected him after the round, treated him to a late lunch and let him hang out with him until the game.
The Spartans brought home a 2nd place finish at their final tournament of the season - The Charger Cup at Quail Chase.
We were so worn out - not sure how we managed to make it home. However, I think we all slept about 12 hours that night.
