Karson braving the SeaDoo (thanks Andrew).
Miles's turn on the SeaDoo.
Isaac's next on the SeaDoo. Yeah right. It took our delicate flower a while to warm up to the lake scene. He basically hung out on the dock, ate chips and drank Pepsi. He's not the bravest of kids (he gets that sense of fear from me).
Karson is my "gum girl". She and I are blessed with large gums. We can smile without showing our teeth--quite a trait, don't you think?
Isaac decided it was time to do some little brother torturing and mess with the steering wheel on the boat. Hands OFF, this is Miles domain ONLY! He will certainly let you know when he is angry. Look at Isaac's sneaky grin, he knows EXACTLY what he is doing.
Miles making sure all the gadgets work properly. Safety first!
Miles still in charge of the ship. "So, uh, where do you all want to go? You just want to stay parked here, that's fine."

It cracks me up how alike our kids are...they just fit right into that 1st, 2nd, 3rd child role! Tell Isaac I'd be right there with him on the dock enjoying the chips and Pepsi! They are adorable...and I'm such a water-chicken that I'm very impressed you do fun things like take your kids to the lake. I WANT to do cool stuff like that, but my poor kids are stuck with digging up our yard for their summer fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm such a chicken too when it comes to putting Zoe in the water.... you've inspired me!!! Maybe I can finally let her go out on my dad's boat after seeing mr. miles having such a great time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mommy you are!
Ahh, I remember us taking Chase and Karson there one day YEARS ago, back when it was easy with just 1 kid a piece! Wasn't I like totally scared about something there?? Who knows, I am a chicken too! Looks like lots of fun though, I hope your grandparents decide to keep it a little longer :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the kids had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers my friend. Keep 'em coming.
SOOO much fun! Aren't you guys lucky!
